An introduction to Vuori

Q&A with Kelly Loreto, Vuori Senior Director of Brand Marketing

Kelly, thanks so much for joining us today for this Q&A with Vuori. Firstly, can you tell us a little bit about Vuori as you’ve just launched into the UK with your concept store.

Vuori draws inspiration from the active California lifestyle—an integration of fitness, yoga, surf and life. We make products that stand the test of time and hope to inspire others to live healthy, extraordinary lives. 

Launched in 2015, Vuori delivers elevated, everyday essentials that blur the lines between fitness and life. An active yogi and surfer, founder Joe Kudla was motivated to create clothing that’s Built to Move in. Styled For Life. Today, Vuori is available at retailers around the globe, and has stores in nearly 30 cities, including our Covent Garden location in London, which we opened in 2022.

What is your brand mission?

Vuori is much more than a brand. It’s a way of life. With products that are designed to last, the Climate Neutral Certified brand is committed to sustainability, with a three-tiered approach: involving the use of recycled and sustainable materials, reducing of plastic waste, and offsetting 100% of carbon emissions. Vuori’s Investment in Happiness drives meaning for every area of the business, a philosophy and active commitment to the shared happiness of its team, customers, community, and the natural environment.

Vuori’s guiding principles include making great product, being in great relationships and living extraordinary lives. We can see that you're a values-based business like us, who aim to bring people from all walks of life together. How important is community to Vuori?

Encinitas, CA, our backyard and playground for active living, inspired the creation of Vuori. As a values-based business, we aim not only to make great products, but to prioritize great relationships with our staff, our partners and the communities we operate in. And we aim to bring together people from all walks of life to create and share positive, meaningful experiences.

What are your brand goals for 2023?

We opened our Covent Garden store in 2022, and hope to continue to build and engage  the Vuori community in the United Kingdom in 2023.
